Sometimes the most beautiful life is built on a foundation of lies.
Lydia Jackson has it all: she's the wealthy, successful founder of an international hair care empire, living a life of luxury in Atlanta. Fluent in multiple languages and possessing a sharp business mind, she is the embodiment of the self-made woman. But behind the "red-bottom" heels and the high-rise office lies a past she has spent decades trying to outrun.
Lydia's carefully constructed world begins to crumble following a chance encounter with a handsome police officer, Zach Thompson. What starts as a flirtation quickly descends into a nightmare as a tragic incident involving her closest friend, David, sparks a chain of events that exposes the corruption rotting at the heart of the city's power structure.
As Lydia is dragged from her boardroom into a brutal detention center, she is forced to confront the secrets of her youth: a traumatic assault by a powerful relative, a child she believed she had lost, and a decades-old murder covered up by those sworn to protect the public.
In a world where the justice system is a tool for the elite and family bonds are weaponized, Lydia must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice for the truth. Will she continue to maintain the Façade, or will she finally tear it down to claim her "Second Chance"?
A gripping tale of power, systemic corruption, and the unbreakable strength of a woman's spirit, Façade explores the dark intersections of race, politics, and the ghosts that refuse to stay buried.
