Decorative brown cloth, printed in black, blue (very dark blue or black? ) , white and gilt, with design of a sportsman's study on the front board, uniform with other titles in the series. Cloth rubbed lightly, bumping to the corners, but intact - no breaks in the cloth, with a few marks to the spine, and the titling a little faded to the spine, but easily readable, o/w tight and complete and overall an attractive binding. Page fore-edges dusty and lightly foxed (pale spotting) (xiii) + (5) + 481pp + 2pp ads for The Badminton Library. Engraved frontispiece (tissue guarded) and 8 other full page engravings throughout, together with numerous text engravings. The prelims and tissue guard are foxed, and some foxing (pale spots/patching) scattered here and there throughout the book, but overall apart from this the book is generally pretty clean. Efectos del desistimiento
