FIREFIGHTER FINN'S Kitten Rescue: Firefighter Finn Rescues a Kitten from a Tree:

There is a kitten stuck at the very top of the big oak tree on Maple Street-and Firefighter Finn and Blaze are on the way! Meet Fluffy, the most confident little brown kitten in all of Maplewood! She climbed all the way up to the top of the oak tree and now she cannot get down! Her owner is worried. The neighbors have gathered. And it is time for MISSION ONE-ANIMAL RESCUE!

Join Firefighter Finn, eight-year-old hero in his red firefighter turnout gear with silver reflective stripes, as he arrives with Blaze, the silliest and steadiest red fire engine in Maplewood, who has big chrome headlights as expressive eyes and a chrome grill smile. Watch Blaze extend his enormous chrome ladder all the way up into the tree, climbing carefully one rung at a time to reach fearless Fluffy at the very top. See young helper Lily, only four years old in her bright yellow firefighter gear, observing from the ground with wonder. Meet organized Juliet, five years old with her clipboard documenting every detail of the rescue. Watch friendly Sparky the Dalmatian, with his white coat and individually scattered black spots and red collar, meet Fluffy nose to nose for the very first time. And most importantly, meet Fluffy herself-a small brown kitten with big golden eyes and absolutely zero worries!

THE RESCUE:

Firefighter Finn drives red fire truck Blaze through the streets of Maplewood with sirens wailing and emergency lights flashing. When they arrive at the tall oak tree, everyone assumes Fluffy must be terrified. But Fluffy is not scared! She is confident, comfortable at height, and actually enjoying her adventure at the treetop!

Juliet immediately takes measurements. The oak tree is approximately forty feet tall! The kitten is at the top of the main trunk! Finn says confidently that Blaze can reach that far. Blaze's big round chrome headlights blink understanding.

Finn commands the ladder extension. Blaze's enormous chrome ladder begins to rise slowly and carefully. The ladder extends and extends and extends! Higher and higher! It reaches the lower branches! Still higher! It reaches the middle branches! The ladder keeps going! It reaches the upper branches where Fluffy sits! CLICK! The ladder locks perfectly into place!

Now Firefighter Finn must climb the ladder! One rung at a time! Carefully! Safely! Finn looks up at Fluffy and calls gently, "Don't worry, little one! I'm coming to get you!" He grips the ladder tightly and steps onto the first rung, then the second, then the third. One rung at a time, Finn climbs up toward Fluffy!

Higher and higher Finn climbs! The ground gets smaller! The air gets cooler! But Finn doesn't look down! He keeps his eyes on Fluffy! The fearless kitten watches him come closer! Fluffy's golden eyes sparkle! She is not scared! She looks excited! "Almost there, Fluffy!" Finn calls! He climbs the twentieth rung! Then the thirtieth! The fortieth is nearby!

Finn's hand reaches the second-to-last rung! He pulls himself up! One more rung! The FINAL rung! Finn is at the top of the ladder! Right beside Fluffy! He can reach her now! "Hello, fluffy!" Finn says gently! Fluffy looks at him! Her golden eyes are calm! She is not afraid at all! In fact-she purrs!

Finn gently reaches out! Fluffy walks toward his black gloved hand! She rubs her little face against his gloves! Finn smiles! "You're not scared at all, are you?" he says! Fluffy purrs louder! Finn carefully picks her up! Fluffy doesn't wiggle or struggle! She seems happy to be rescued! "Good girl, Fluffy!" Finn praises!

Now comes the careful part! Climbing down with a kitten! Finn holds Fluffy carefully! He repositions his grip! Fluffy is secure! "Let's go home, Fluffy!" Finn says! Finn steps onto the rung below! One rung at a time! Down! Carefully holding Fluffy! The kitten stays calm! She even looks around! She seems to enjoy the view!
