Soft cover. Condición: Good. 1st Edition. A collectible first edition in good+ condition SIGNED by editor Groff Conklin, PLUS a shelf-worthy reading copy. The first edition is the red cover variant. It has "First Edition 1963" and no printings on its copyright page. Inside its front cover it is inscribed, "To [name] -- a rich collection of shorties -- more due to Asimov than me! Groff C. 15 aug 63". [I've got other Conklin signatures in my inventory, including a signed bank check, so I'm 100% confident this signature is authentic.] The book itself is in good+ condition, marred by spine lean, reading creases in the spine, some very light surface soiling, and traces of wear to cover edges. Its binding is sound. Its covers and pages are otherwise unmarked. The reading copy is a 1976 17th printing. It appears unread, and is in very good+ condition, marred only by a neatly blacked-out price on the front cover, light corner bumps, and traces of wear on cover edges. Its binding is tight and square, with no creases in its spine or hinges. Covers are bright and otherwise unmarked. Pages are unmarked and unworn. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship these books in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure they reach their new owner in the same condition as my description.
