Acerca del autor: Ruth McManus teaches in and researches on sociology and death studies. Steve Matthewman is associate professor of sociology at the University of Auckland and outgoing president of the Sociological Association of Aotearoa New Zealand (SAANZ). Chris Brickell is associate professor in gender studies at the University of Otago. Gregor McLennan is professor of sociology at the University of Bristol, UK. Paul Spoonley is the pro vice-chancellor of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Massey University.
