Paperback. Read this book with your child at night before bedtime or on a Saturday before a hike. Each page features a nature photo I captured with my camera, and three questions that will rouse your child's curiosity about nature. The first page shows a rabbit in the grass and three questions: What is this rabbit paying attention to? How does this mammal move from place to place? Have you ever touched a rabbit? Then there is a photo I took of a female mallard walking on pine needles, a beetle on a leaf, a bright red China rose flower, a spider in a web, an assassin bug, lizards, snakes, birds, butterflies, wasps, a damselfly, a frog, an otter, a squirrel, an ant, ladybugs, a crab, a fly, a turtle, and more. Your child will love these photos and have lots of ideas they want to share with you. You can share what you know about wildlife and nature with your child, and ask your own questions too. And what you don't know, you can search for online using your smart phone. If you want your child to be curious and ask questions, then buy this book and sit down with them for a while. Curiosity is something you can develop by just providing a nudge here or there. I've already done the hard work, finding the wildlife. All you have to do is set aside time to read a book with your child. As a teacher of the Gifted and Talented for two decades and a wildlife photographer for even longer, I strongly encourage you to take a chance with this book. Try it out. The photos will blow you away, and the moments spent observing your child's face light up, well, they are priceless. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
