The ships were lifeboats for the people.The mighty Dragon of Caledonia-Debian was the last to enter an evacuation shuttle. Taking ahold of the extended arms of Kenechukwa and Abikanile-Nakisisa, the king hoisted himself into the shuttle. A violent quake opened the ground King Bendigeidfran had been standing on. At the last moment, the planet was intact, and the monarch was pulled onto the rescue shuttle.
