Volume I [1838] states "Second edition, with corrected plates"; ex-library with some markings; rebound in brick red cloth with gilt spine lettering, binding tight but light dampstains along top and bottom edges; Volume II [1839] appears to be first edition, publisher's dull purple cloth boards, spine lacking, both covers and first few pages detached, owner signature on title page and bookplate on front pastedown; Volume III [1840] has binding similar to Vol. II, spine heavily taped and boards clumsily reglued at joints, previous owner name at top of title page as before; all text blocks fairly tight, useful as is but not very attractive; Vols. I and II have extra engraved title pages, in Vol. III this is lacking; overall Fair to Good condition.
