Evidence based return to play after hip and pelvis injuries has become our third book in our comprehensive systematic review. After Hip and Pelvis injuries, it is common for surgeons, sports physicians, athletes, coaches, physical therapist, athletic trainers and parents to wonder how long the recovery and rehabilitation will be and, most importantly, when athletes can go back to playing their respective sport. However, the answer is highly contingent on the injury and sport of the athlete. Literature in orthopedic and sports medicine realms over the last several years have progressed and investigated more athlete-specific questions, such as rehabilitation criteria, in order to return to sport and previous levels of competition prior to injury. Recently, there have been increased reports in the literature focusing on specific rehabilitation protocols and reintegration to sports programs. However, an organized resource that comprehensively including a simple reference on current guidelines on return to play following Hip & Pelvis Injures does not exist. This book provides this resource with the goal of reducing bias by identifying, appraising, and synthesizing all relevant studies.
