The Safar Learn by Heart series is a set of concise but comprehensive books that help students memorize surahs and duʿaʾs taught by our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It was the sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ to remain in Allah’s remembrance throughout the entire day, and this series has been designed to enable students to revive this blessed sunnah. From morning until evening and from one Islamic occasion to another, the series teaches authentic duʿaʾs along with their English translation and the virtues of many du'a's in a way that is easy to understand. A unique aspect of this book is that it contains virtues – like those mentioned by the prophet ﷺ for reading the various duʿaʾs. Many other duʿaʾ books do not include this. It is this aspect that played a major role in motivating previous generations to keep this Sunnah alive and ongoing. The series has been divided into several levels and targets of facilitate gradual learning and the tracker at the back will help to keep a record of progress. The surahs and duʿaʾs have been arranged in an order that fits in with the memorisation requirements for various Safar Islamic Studies and Arabic books. This work is part of a comprehensive curriculum. What is the difference between the Madinah script and the South Asian script? The two scripts are written by different calligraphers who have different writing styles. There are also technical differences which have been addressed in the Qaidahs, teaching users how to effectively read the Quran in the relevant script. The South Asian script is usually found in the 13 line Mushafs/Qurans which are more commonly used in the indo-pak and South African regions. The Madinah script which is sometimes known as the Uthmani script is usually found in the 15 line Mushafs/Qurans and is more commonly used in Madinah and other Arab regions.
