This new edition has been completely updated. The publication is divided into thirteen chapters. The first five describe the epidemiology, nature and characteristics of epilepsy and other seizure disorders. Other chapters deal with medical and surgical treatment and the psychiatric aspects of epilepsy. The issues of genetic counseling are also addressed. Issues of leisure and work are dealt with as well as a selection of questions frequently asked by people with epilepsy in the final chapter.
