Arthur Bloomfield believed that the three prophecies--Daniel, the Olivet Discourse, and Revelation--form a prophetic trilogy. In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus reached back to Daniel and forward to Revelation, and without unnecessary repetition, combined the three into a consonant whole. Bloomfield's careful studies of biblical prophecy have stood the test of time and are as relevant today as the day they were first published. This comprehensive exposition examines all the prophetic sections of the book of Daniel. Bloomfield outlines Daniel's visions of world empires and harmonizes them with Revelation and the Olivet Discourse, presenting the prophecies in the light of contemporary events. Written for lay readers as well as teachers and pastors, readers will discover that God has given in Scripture a blueprint for the future of the world.

Arthur Bloomfield was a respected pastor in the Methodist Church and editor of Higley's Sunday School Commentary before devoting his time to studying, writing, and lecturing on Bible prophecy. His books include The End of Days and How to Recognize the Antichrist. He passed away in 1980.
