Your child learns what to do with a big feeling, one page at a time.
Anger, worry, sadness, jealousy, excitement. This workbook gives children ages 6–10 a name for each one and a simple thing to do about it. They draw the feeling, write about it, and practice a calming tool they can use the next time it turns up at bedtime, at school, or in the middle of an argument with a brother.
Most activities a child can do on their own. Short instructions, big spaces to write in so there is room to say more than a word or two, and hand-drawn illustrations throughout. Each one takes about five or ten minutes, and there's nothing to print out or prepare.

- Friendship and problem-solving: sharing, disagreeing, apologizing, starting over.
- Games, journaling and drawing prompts that keep it feeling like fun, not homework.
- Calming tools a child can remember in the moment: breathing, grounding, mindfulness, and simple CBT-based exercises, written so they come back when they're needed and not only when the book is open.
Eight photocopiable worksheets at the back. The daily check-in, the week of feelings, the calm toolbox, the repair plan — the pages children come back to. Copy them for a second child, or for a whole class, and nothing gets used up.
The calming tools draw on the same breathing, grounding and CBT ideas used in children's therapy, put into words a child can follow — on their own, or with you sitting next to them.
Open it at any page and start. Nothing has to be done in order, and there are no wrong answers. That's why it works just as well at the kitchen table, in a classroom, or in a counseling session.

Efectos del desistimiento
