Edible Oils: Extraction, Processing, and Applications intends to present up to date technologies that are currently used for the extraction and refining of Edible Oils while proposing potential applications for its derivatives.

Smain CHEMAT is Research Director and group leader of “Extraction & Separation Techniques” team at the Centre de Recherches Scientifique & Technique en Analyses Physico-Chimiques (CRAPC), ALGERIA. Born in Blida (1975), he obtained a chemical engineer diploma (1996) and received his PhD (2005) in Process engineering from the University Sciences & Technologies Houari Boumediene (USTHB), Algiers, and Master of Business Administration (2010) from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
