Single sheet printed one side only. *This nationalist, anti-conscription hand bill warns against employers and business people 'who dismiss and in other ways put economic pressure on the young men of the towns, so as to make them choose between starvation and the British army'. It specifically exhorts Irishwomen not to 'fill the places of young men forced by the threat of hunger to volunteer', explaining that, 'without the co-operation of women in field, factory, shop and office' conscription will be defeated, and finishes with the slogan 'No Women Blacklegs in Ireland!
