Acerca del autor
Laura Westra did her undergraduate and graduate work in philosophy, and she received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 1983. After her retirement from the University of Windsor’s Philosophy Department, she attended Osgoode Hall Law School, and received her second Ph.D. in Jurisprudence in 2005. She is the founder of the Global Ecological Integrity Group (GEIG) (globalecointegrity.org), and has organized annual conferences for 27 years for the group which comprises over 200 members. She has been reinstated at the University of Windsor, and taught in Italy, at the University of Milano(Bicocca) and the University of Salerno. She is the author/editor of 44 books and over 90 articles and chapters in books.
Klaus Bosselmann has been teaching in the areas of public international law, European law, global environmental law and governance, and environmental constitutionalism. His research focus is on conceptual, international and comparative dimensions of environmental law and governance. He is particularly interested in ecological approaches to law and governance. He has been the Director of the New Zealand Centre for Environmental Law since its establishment in 1999. He is Chair of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL) Ethics Specalist Group, Chair of the Steering Committee of the Ecological Law and Governance Association (ELGA), Co-Chair of the Global Ecological Integrity Group (GEIG), and executive member of several other professional networks including Sustainable Aotearoa New Zealand (SANZ) and the New Zealand Centre of Global Studies (NZCGS). Klaus has authored or edited 30 books on environmental law and political ecology, a number of which have been translated into multiple languages; his articles appeared in many of the world’s leading law journals. For his pioneering work on ecological law, he has received numerous awards including the Inaugural Senior Scholarship Prize of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law.Matteo Fermeglia is affiliated as a Doctor Assistant in Environmental and Administrative Law within the Center for Government and Law (CORe) of Hasselt University. He graduated in 2014 as a master in Law at the University of Trieste (Italy). The research themes in which Matteo Fermeglia is active include soil protection, environmental liability, climate law and governance. In 2017, Matteo was Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School, where he actively collaborated with the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law and the Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment.
In 2019, Matteo obtained his doctorate in Law at the University of Udine and Trieste joint PhD programme with a dissertation on the legal nature of EU Emission Trading Allowances, the Renewable Energy Certificates and Energy Efficiency Certificates. Matteo has authored and co-authored several publications in edited books and international journals on diffuse soil pollution, environmental liability, climate law and governance.

Unser oberstes Ziel ist dabei die Weiterverwendung von Dingen und die Schonung von Ressourcen. Neben dem Ankauf von privaten Büchern oder Haushaltsauflösungen kaufen wir bundesweit komplette Bibliotheken und Buchbestände von Institutionen auf, um diese nachhaltig ein weiteres Mal auf den Markt zu bringen. Parallel dazu bietet Buchpark die Möglichkeit, große Mengen einzulagern. Ganze Bibliotheken und umfangreiche Buchbestände werden von uns professionell auf Qualitätsmerkmale hin untersucht und sorgfältig für den Onlinehandel aufbereitet. Derecho al desistimiento
Si es un consumidor, puede rescindir el contrato de acuerdo con lo siguiente. Por consumidor se entiende cualquier persona física que actúe con fines ajenos a su actividad comercial, empresarial, oficio o profesión.

Derecho legal de desistimiento
Tiene derecho a rescindir este contrato en un plazo de 14 días sin dar ningún motivo.
El periodo de desistimiento vencerá a los 14 días desde que usted, o un tercero que no sea el transportista e indicado por usted, adquiera la posesión física del último bien o del último lote o pieza.
Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento
Si rescinde este contrato, le reembolsaremos todos los pagos que hayamos recibido de usted, incluidos los gastos de envío (excepto los gastos adicionales que surjan si elige un tipo de envío que no sea el tipo de envío estándar más económico que ofrecemos).
Podemos hacer una deducción del reembolso por la pérdida de valor de cualquier bien suministrado, si la pérdida es el resultado de una manipulación innecesaria por su parte.
Efectuaremos el reembolso sin demoras indebidas y, a más tardar, 14 días después de que se nos informe de su decisión de rescindir este contrato.
Efectuaremos el reembolso utilizando el mismo medio de pago que utilizó para la transacción inicial, a menos que haya acordado expresamente lo contrario; en cualquier caso, no incurrirá en ningún cargo como resultado de dicho reembolso.
Podremos retener el reembolso hasta que hayamos recibido los bienes o hasta que nos haya presentado una prueba de que los ha devuelto, lo que ocurra primero.
Deberá devolver los bienes o entregarlos a Buchpark, Trebbin, Germany, sin demoras indebidas y, en cualquier caso, en un plazo máximo de 14 días a partir del día en que nos comunique su desistimiento del presente contrato. El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
- La entrega de periódicos, diarios o revistas, con la excepción de los contratos de suscripción; y
- El suministro de contenido digital que no se proporcione en un soporte tangible (por ejemplo, en un CD o DVD) si, al hacer el pedido, aceptó que podíamos empezar a entregarlo y que no podría desistir una vez iniciada la entrega.
