Paperback. For thousands of years, the descendants of Atlantis have lived among ordinary humanity - hiding their abilities, guarding ancient knowledge, and waiting. Waiting for the stars to align. Waiting for the prophecy to stir. Waiting for the four who were promised. That time is now.Hidden deep in the American Southwest, Kachina Academy for the Gifted and Talented is no ordinary school. Here, telepaths learn to navigate a world of unshielded minds. Seers wrestle with visions that blur the line between dream and destiny. Those who can move matter with thought alone train not for spectacle, but for war. And somewhere beneath the quiet discipline of lessons and traditions, something older than the academy itself is waking up.Kyle and Kelly Brightwater have always been close - twins bound by more than blood, sharing secrets the way most siblings share rooms. But the night terrors haunting Kyle are no ordinary dreams. He sees a choice that carries the weight of worlds, and every time he reaches for the answer, it slips away like smoke. Kelly has spent her life being the steady one, the reliable one, the twin who holds things together. She's about to discover that steadiness has a price - and that some forces won't wait for her to be ready.Isabella Greenhill has spent her entire life being told what she is: a legacy, a responsibility, a name that carries expectations heavier than what she desires. She wants power on her own terms, not the carefully measured kind her family approves of. When she steps through the doors of Kachina Academy, she tells herself she's finally free. But freedom, she will learn, is far more complicated when the shadows have already learned your name.Alejandro Nunez has spent sixteen years in the foster system with one truth: unexpected visitors mean bad news. So when a stranger appears at the orphanage door claiming to have known his mother - a mother the system said was nobody - Alejandro has every reason not to believe him. But the stranger has a photograph. And a letter. And an envelope that floats across the room without being touched. For the first time in his life, Alejandro has a name for the strange things that have always happened around him. For the first time, he has somewhere to go. What waits for him at Kachina Academy isn't just an education - it's the truth about who his mother was, what she could do, and why the most powerful people in the Atlantean world already know his name.Together, these four students will begin to understand what their abilities truly mean - not just as gifts to be trained, but as pieces of something vast, ancient, and dangerously close to waking. The ley lines running beneath the earth are shifting. Sacred sites from Stonehenge to the Peruvian highlands are responding to something none of the elders will name aloud. And somewhere beyond the reach of the academy's carefully constructed order, forces that predate civilization itself are moving with terrible patience toward a single, inevitable moment. The world they were born into is not the world they thought it was.Atlantis did not simply sink. It fractured - scattering its knowledge, its power, and its warnings across every civilization that rose in its wake. The pyramids remember. The stone circles remember. The mountains, the ocean floors, and the coded manuscripts locked in private libraries remember. What lies beyond it could save everything.Or end it.Echo of Atlantis: The Umdedu Codex is the first chapter of an epic six-book saga blending ancient mythology, psychic adventure, and the timeless hunger to understand who we are and where we came from. Perfect for readers who devour their fantasy with a side of real history - and find themselves unable to stop researching long after the final page. The awakeni Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…

Atlantis didn't sink. It scattered.
Its bloodlines survived, its knowledge was buried in ancient stone, and its power slept quietly inside people who had no idea what they were. Until now.
ECHO OF ATLANTIS: THE ŪMDËDŬ CODEX is the first book in a six-volume epic that begins with four teenagers who share nothing but a heritage they never asked for — and a prophecy that has been waiting sixteen years for them to be ready.
Kelly Brightwater has always been faster than everyone else. Literally. The moment her ability awakens, she tears across space itself — teleporting without warning, without control, and without any idea how far her gift can actually reach. She's fearless on the outside and terrified underneath, and the two things are about to collide.
Kyle Brightwater, Kelly's twin, sees things that haven't happened yet. Visions arrive without invitation — a shadow hovering over someone sleeping, a phoenix above a burning jungle, warnings he can't decode until it's almost too late. Being a seer sounds like power. It feels more like drowning.
Alejandro Núñez grew up in the foster system with no family, no history, and no answers. When a stranger arrives at the orphanage with a photograph of his mother and an invitation to a school he's never heard of, Alejandro discovers that the objects moving on their own around him aren't accidents. His telekinesis is just the beginning of who he really is.
Isabella Greenhill is the granddaughter of Kachina Academy's deputy administrator and the last person who should be struggling with belonging. But her telepathy pulls every emotion in the room into her mind at once — and the voice whispering that she deserves more power than anyone is willing to give her is becoming harder to ignore.
Together, the four arrive at Kachina Academy for the Gifted and Talented, a hidden institution carved into the American Southwest where Atlantean descendants have trained for centuries. The academy promises answers. What it delivers instead are tests — elemental trials targeting each student's deepest fear, a codex that holds secrets the elders won't share, and a darkness pressing against the boundaries between worlds that has been waiting for exactly this generation.
From the canyon ruins of the American Southwest to the wind-carved altars of Peru, Echo of Atlantis blends ancient mythology, psychic power, and globe-spanning adventure into a story about four young people learning that legacy isn't handed to you — it's earned through the trials that test whether you deserve it.
Grounded in real ancient history, from Plato's original accounts and Egyptian records to the sacred sites of the Andes, this is epic fantasy for readers who want the adventure to feel real — and who will finish the last page wanting to book a flight to Peru.
Some legacies are inherited. Others must be earned. Four descendants. One ancient prophecy. A codex that rewrites everything you thought you knew. The echoes are growing louder.

Acerca del autor
Kevin Gillen is a retired federal officer and graduate of the University of Maryland whose career took him around the world, where he explored ancient sites like the Great Pyramids of Giza, Petra, and Angkor Wat. Those experiences sparked a deep fascination with lost civilizations, hidden histories, and the question: what if we've only uncovered a fraction of humanity's past?
That question became the foundation for Echo of Atlantis, the first book in his six-part sci-fi epic fantasy series, The Ūmdëdŭ Codex.
Kevin writes fast-paced stories that blend mystery, action-adventure, and science fiction with epic fantasy-where ancient secrets collide with modern forces and every discovery raises the stakes. Readers can expect hidden worlds, powerful conspiracies, and twists that challenge everything we think we know about history.
When he's not writing, Kevin enjoys delving into science fiction and fantasy across books, movies, and television, drawing inspiration from classic series like Encyclopedia Brown, The Hardy Boys, and Robert Ludlum's works.
