Neuware - Even immortals have unfinished businessFor millennia, four Dragon Kings have ruled the seas from the shadows of legend, their power feared even by gods. Now one of their ancient prisoners has broken free - and he wants payback. Myth hunter Elisa Hill barely has time to catch her breath after Lemuria before a cryptic call pulls her and her mentor, Max, into the neon sprawl of Hong Kong. The job: help her kitsune ally Asami investigate a demigod causing chaos across the city. That demigod turns out to be Sun Wukong - the Monkey King himself, freed from centuries of imprisonment and hunting for the powers stripped from him by the Dragon Kings.Wukong isn't alone. Nezha, the immortal warrior-god, has thrown in with his old friend, and together they're determined to settle a score that predates recorded history. But the Dragon Kings aren't the toothless legends Elisa expected. As she and her allies are dragged deeper into a war between immortals, she'll uncover secrets about the Jade Emperor's court, the true reason the Dragon Kings turned on one of their own, and a threat that could unravel the fragile balance between the mortal world and the divine. With bullets flying as often as spells, and betrayals lurking behind every ally's smile, Elisa must decide how far she's willing to go to survive a conflict she never asked to join - one where the wrong move could make her the next name added to a very long list of casualties.Fast-paced, myth-soaked, and packed with martial arts, ancient magic, and razor-sharp banter, Percival Constantine plunges readers back into the world of The Myth Hunter series with higher stakes, bigger gods, and a body count to match.…
