In addition, Smiley's political and social commentary is heard twice weekly on The Tom Joyner Morning Show, a national radio program with a listenership of seven million. The Smiley Report, his quarterly newsletter, has a circulation of three to four million readers. The author of Hard Left, On Air, and, most recently, How to Make Black America Better, Smiley is one of the most celebrated commentators in America. He lives in Los Angeles.
