He is author of Modernism in Art, Design and Architecture and editor of Subjectivity, Creativity and the Institution, and Contemporary Chinese Visual Culture: Tradition, Modernity and Globalisation.

Jane Pearce is Chair of the Consumer Advisory Council at the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital, Australia. She is a qualitative researcher with an interest in co-design approaches that prioritize end-user perspectives on service design in health.
