Did you know that companies and employees with security clearances make up to 15% more than their counterparts?
But many companies don’t compete on classified governmentcontracts because they just don’t understand how to get started or how to go through federal classified contract or the security clearance process.
You know how all those government contracting opportunities exist but there are so many unanswered questions? Well DoD Security Clearance and Contracts Guidebook not only answers the questions, but walks the reader through the process of bidding on classified contracts, applying for the facility clearance and preparing their compa-nies to perform on classified contracts.
In fact, don't bid on any classified contracts job before reading my book. Once you or-der and receive it, you'll want to read the first three chapters immediately. It's like hav-ing a roadmap to bid on classified contracts and establish a security program to per-form on them while protecting sensitive government information.
This book is a companion book to Insider's Guide to Security Clearances, but here we go further. The benefits of reading this book include:
✓Better understand how to perform on classified contracts with current core competencies including cybersecurity, network security, computer security, technology, engineering, IT, finance, and so many more
✓Prepare to receive, protect, and work with classified contracts without compromise or blowing your budget
With a facility security clearance capability you can win contracts with the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Department of Energy, Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and so much more.
DoD Security Clearance and Contracts Guidebook is the solution walks step by step and describes how a defense company can work on classified contracts. The first step is to win a contract and become a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) as discussed in the book Insider's Guide to Security Clearances.
What I've learned after many years in the field is that fear and misunderstandings stop people from bidding on security clearance contracts. Just like planning any corporate vision, goal or dream, you can probably list a few reasons why you should give up before you even try. Here are a few common misconceptions:
-
I need a clearance to bid on classified contracts
-
My company is too small
-
Security clearances cost a lot of money
-
Classified contracts are too competitive; we’ll never get one
-
I don’t have the right people in place
-
It’s impossible to plan and budget for the classified work
My book gives you the real information and solutions you need. It teaches contractors how to apply for a facility security clearance after bidding on the classified government contract. Inside you'll find answers to your security clearance questions with incredible in-formation you can use immediately.
DoD Security Clearances and Contracts Guidebook shows you how to:
-
Become a CDC Contractor
-
Determine security requirements
-
Establish a security team to protect classified information
-
Develop and provide required security training
-
Prepare for government inspections and much more
-
This book also covers protecting classified information that the company will receive:
-
Contract specifications
-
Security clearance levels
-
Classified information processing
-
Derivative Classification
-
Required Security Training
-
Appointing a Facility Security Officer
-
