Each theme uses a different story as the starting point and contains story background information followed by three activities and a display idea, with step-by-step instructions. Contains 6 chapters: Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, North America and South America.

· There are 33 stories, including The Magic Porridge Pot, The Mousehole Cat, The Fire Children, Monkey-See Monkey-Do, The Rainbow Bird, Gregory Cool and Mariana and the Merchild.
· The stories have been specifically chosen to be adapted across the age groups and teachers will find a wide variety of activities suitable for their year group.
