Zvi Gitelman is Professor of Political Science and Preston Tisch Professor of Judaic Studies at the University of Michigan. He is the editor of The Emergence of Modern Jewish Politics: Bundism and Zionism in Eastern Europe. Richard Sakwa is Professor of Russian and European Politics at the University of Kent.
