Moderate wear to extremities with scuffing to corners and edges. Modest soiling to surface of cloth. Light staining and scuff marks to surface of cloth. Spine ends quite worn with fraying and crushing. Some loss of cloth at ends. Gilt on spine remains bright and clean. Front fly creased and improperly folded. Chipping at edges of fly. Bookplate of Maurice Robert Des Marais on front end pastedown. Des Marais was a longtime faculty member in the Department of Architecture at Penn State College of Arts and Architecture and a corporate member of the American Institute of Architects. Old hand ownership on second end page of John Hopton with address of 445 Hudson Street , NY. Textblock nicely preserved with light, even toning, minor instances of foxing, and light instances of age staining. Free of known marginalia. All plates present. Binding intact. Mid-gutter tender.
