Barbara Pospisilova graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Ostrava in book design. She loves paper and the contact with the book itself. She enjoys creating books and breathing life into them, often with the help of her children, who are very good critics and often the first readers of her projects. She lives near Prague.

Joli Hannah, a children’s book author and publisher, started working with international publishers in 2000 to create children’s books, which over time she began writing herself. She is raising three children in a charming house in the countryside, and every night before bedtime, she reads or invents original stories for them. Joli works under a pseudonym, as she wishes her readers to perceive her through her stories and not through her image on social media. She loves life, people, and their stories, and was born and raised in an industrial city in Central Europe.

Bethany Lord is a freelance illustrator who was born in 1996 and began drawing at a young age. She graduated with a degree in illustration from the Arts University Bournemouth in 2018 and an MA in Communication Design: Illustration from Kingston University in 2019. Highly commended by Macmillan Books for her third-year project, she specializes in children’s book illustration, travel editorial art, maps, and packaging, using bold digital colors and layering techniques. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing guitar, watching movies, cooking, and baking. She lives in Kingston Upon Thames, London.
