Paperback. "I wish I had this book when I was laid off as the details it provides are extremely useful for anyone who is in the job search." - Fiorentino "Found a job in 30 days with help from this book." - Joe C. "The ordering of the steps almost seemed magical in terms of providing what I needed at the right time. The book covers all aspects of the job search. Because the book covers so much ground, there are surely whole books on many of the topics. However, it's really nice to have the process summarized in one place." - Anton D. This edition has been updated to address feedback and the real-world experience of job searchers on the ground during these unusual times. It is both practical and considerate of the many challenges that a job searcher experiences with a particular focus on how things have changed since the pandemic began. This book is not meant to replace the time honored tomb, What Color is Your Parachute?" By Richard N Bolles. If you read Parachute in practice, this is the field guide you keep in your pocket during the big game when decisions need to be made quickly and efficiently because time is a precious, and limited, resource. If job hunting was the only thing you had to do, it would be a serious undertaking. Most of you will have several things on your mind as you begin the endeavor. Consider this book a 'job search project manager' in your pocket. It gives you manageable daily tasks in a progressive sequence that will lay a strong foundation for job searching success. All of this while providing tips and pointing out common pitfalls so that you're prepared to handle whatever comes. The 30 Day Job Search Survival Guide provides a strategic map so that you can focus on executing the steps and making real progress. It can't win the job for you, but it can put you in a stronger position than those who do not read the book. This item is printed on demand.
