A heartfelt urban fantasy where fatherhood meets forbidden magic

Dive into the world of Dad Magic, where ancient secrets, queer freedom, and fatherly love collide. In the magical city of Spellford, modern tech and old-world sorcery intertwine—and parenting a teenager can be just as perilous as facing a magical rebellion.

Brent Abernathy thought his adventuring days were over. Now a magical insurance investigator (with creaky knees and a dry sense of humour), he's pulled back into danger when his teenage daughter Victoria begins exhibiting strange powers. Together with his best friend, a half-orc named Pax, Brent must confront buried secrets, face the enigmatic Mage’s Union, and deal with a chaotic rebel faction known as the Code Weavers.

As Brent unravels the mystery of Victoria’s origins, he must also reckon with a cosmic weapon tied to his past... and the fate of reality itself.

• Queer found family
• Magical bureaucracy
• Urban fantasy meets emotional depth
• Single dad energy, with a side of geeky Orcish chaos
