nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Protecting the southern border of America is about as stressful as it gets for a law enforcement officer. Sometimes, you have to laugh to maintain your sanity. When one stops to think about it for a second, it becomes clear that police officers must come across some of the craziest, most eccentric, and most unexpected aspects of everyday society as a fundamental part of their job, whether it be on the streets of New York City or the Mexican border. If only a police officer with a sense of humor decided to write some of the best stories down That's exactly what Robert L. Bryan does best. As a former NYC cop and Border Patrol Agent, Bryan's been in the thick of it for most of his career, treading the thin blue line between civility and chaos. Along the way, he's come across some seriously bizarre characters, and some even more bizarre situations. Sometimes, a man has just got to laugh at the ridiculousness of it all, and with his talent for turning a phrase and spinning a good yarn, Dark Knights 2: The Dark Humor of Police Officers Border Patrol Edition spins plenty of hilarious tales which range from the horrifyingly funny to the downright weird while Bryan worked his first law enforcement job on the southern borderDark Knights 2 manages to not just be a fantastic piece of light entertainment for those curious about the laughs within law enforcement, it also offers a truly fascinating insight into some of the more unexpected aspects of the job of policing America's border. This darkly funny and somewhat twisted collection of tales and memories will not only make you laugh, it will also get you thinking about today's headlines and the role the Border Patrol plays in society today, and where the agency needs reform, reevaluation, and outright applause.…

Acerca del autor
Thank you for purchasing my book detailing the early history of policing in New York City.
This is the tenth book in the "Police of New York City" series. This is a change of pace for me as most of my previous works have been memoirs regarding my police career as well as humorous works of fiction.
You can check out all my books on my Amazon Author Page. Again, thanks, and I hope you enjoy reading about this small piece of New York City policing history. I would greatly appreciate a brief review when you have completed the book.
