When I think of my life, I imagine you at the centre.

Frances is a university student in Dublin. Cool-headed and observant, she spends most of her time with her best friend - and ex-girlfriend - Bobbi. On meeting Melissa, a well-known writer, and her actor husband Nick, the pair enter a world of sophisticated parties and holidays abroad. But when Frances and Nick grow unexpectedly close, she is forced to confront the reality that her actions have always had consequences.

With an introduction by director Lenny Abrahamson and featuring iconic images from the show, Conversations with Friends: The Scripts contains the complete screenplays of the acclaimed television drama based on Sally Rooney's bestselling debut novel.
