The Convergence of Extended Reality and Metaverse in Agriculture (Paperback)

The convergence of 3D printing, extended reality (XR), and the metaverse revolutionizes the agricultural sector by introducing immersive, efficient, and customizable solutions. 3D printing enables the creation of tools, machinery parts, and bio-based materials, reducing costs for farmers. XR technologies offer interactive training, precision farming simulations, and visualization of crop and soil data. The metaverse provides a collaborative digital space where farmers, researchers, and businesses can exchange knowledge, test innovations, and manage virtual farm environments. Together, these technologies shape the future of agriculture, fostering smarter, more sustainable, and connected farming practices. The Convergence of Extended Reality and Metaverse in Agriculture explores the confluence of 3D printing, extended reality (XR), and the metaverse within the realm of agriculture, providing a comprehensive overview of how these cutting-edge technologies reshape the agricultural landscape. From revolutionizing equipment design with 3D printing to creating immersive virtual farm environments in the metaverse, and leveraging XR for precision agriculture, it examines the transformative potential within the agri-tech space. This book covers topics such as agricultural education, immersive technology, and sustainable development, and is a useful resource for business owners, engineers, agriculturalists, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
