Original stitch-bound blue printed wraps 16x24cm. 6pp. Very good, worn at the fore-edge, with sections coming loose. In the latest of a series of related agreements dating back to 1861, the Persian Govt here agrees to construct a line from Kashan to the Baluchi frontier via Yezd and Kerman with support from British Telegraph staff and materials supplied at reasonable cost by the British Govt. Containing 3 wires, one would be used by the Persian Telegraph Administration, the others for international traffic. The line would be leased to the Indo-European Telegraph Department (part of the British Government in India), with principal offices in towns and large villages.
