Reseña del editor: Despite of the government effort in advocating the use of family planning information and service to all male and females of reproductive ages, university students sexual activity is on the rise. Most of the girls are at the greatest risk of unwanted pregnancy and sexual transmitted infections because they are unlikely to use contraception during or immediately after sexual activity. Therefore, preventing unwanted pregnancy and STI/HIV among them is the important concern. This was a cross sectional cmparative study carried out to examine the use of contraception among female university students in Tanzania. The findings revealed that the knowledge about contraception was sound but the use is very low. It includes important discussion about attitude towards contraception, reasons, barries, accessibility and social support for contraceptive use. This book is ideally useful to all professionals in the field of sexual behaviour and anyone interested in this field.
