Neuware - 'The Constitution of Arizona' offers a comprehensive examination and presentation of the foundational legal document governing the Grand Canyon State. Authored by John R. Murdock, an educator and later a United States Representative, this work serves as an essential guide to understanding the structure, powers, and limitations of Arizona's state government. Since its admission to the Union in 1912, Arizona's constitution has been noted for its progressive features, including the initiative, referendum, and recall, reflecting the political climate of the early 20th century.Murdock provides valuable context and analysis, making the complexities of constitutional law accessible to students and citizens alike. The text covers the legislative, executive, and judicial branches, as well as provisions regarding education, public institutions, and state finance. This volume is a significant historical resource for those interested in Western American history, political science, and the development of civic life in the American Southwest. By documenting the legal framework of a young state, 'The Constitution of Arizona' remains a vital reference for legal scholars and historians focusing on the evolution of regional governance and democratic principles. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. This work was reproduced from the original artifact, and remains as true to the original work as possible. Therefore, you may see the original copyright references, library stamps (as most of these works have been housed in our most important libraries around the world), and other notations in the work. This work is in the public domain in the United States of America, and possibly other nations. Within the United States, you may freely copy and distribute this work, as no entity (individual or corporate) has a copyright on the body of the work.As a reproduction of a historical artifact, this work may contain missing or blurred pages, poor pictures, errant marks, etc. Scholars believe, and we concur, that this work is important enough to be preserved, reproduced, and made generally available to the public.
