Meet Mandy Williams and Charles Clay, A.K.A "C.C" a young Blackman determined to seek out a good-paying job. Even though the odds are working against him, with only a G.E.D, Jail record, and his brown skin for a resume. While Mandy has the pleasure of having two jobs, a Bachelors degree, and a Masters degree from Virginia State University. Though they both feel as if they lack in pleasing their other halves and friends' needs, on their way to success. With a heavy crime wave that plaque these Brooklyn streets. They commit themselves to succeed, without falling victim to the hood traps, or the many scandals the streets offer to accomplish their dreams.

Mandy and C.C are just a few with hopes and dreams of escaping the ghetto box blues, they were brought up in.
