Check out all 101 titles in this series of Catholic children's books. Each of the St. Joseph Picture and Coloring Books make wonderful gifts for baptisms, First Communion, birthdays, Christmas, or Easter.
The book invites children into a warm and creative encounter with Our Blessed Mother. Each page features a traditional-style illustration paired with one or two sentences that explain a moment from Mary's story or highlight one of her virtues--her obedience, her humility, her love for Jesus, and her maternal care for the Church. These explanations are intentionally brief and age-appropriate, making them ideal for preschool and early elementary readers who are just beginning to learn about the faith.
The large 81/2" × 11" format gives children plenty of space to color, and the clean, child-friendly line art makes the images easy to fill in without frustration. The book's lightweight paperback binding makes it easy to carry to church, school, or family prayer time, and its simplicity allows children to engage with Marian devotion in a way that feels natural, joyful, and non-intimidating.
Parents, catechists, and Catholic school teachers appreciate how the coloring book quietly supports faith formation. As children color, they absorb foundational truths about Mary, her "yes" to God, her closeness to Jesus, and her loving presence in the life of the Church. The rhymes help reinforce memory, while the illustrations spark imagination and conversation. It is especially useful in CCD/PSR programs, parish classrooms, and home catechesis, where visual and hands-on activities help young learners stay engaged.
Compact, affordable, and spiritually meaningful, Coloring Book About Mary makes an excellent gift for young children ages 3 and up, whether for birthdays, sacramental preparation, feast days, or quiet Sunday activities. As part of the trusted St. Joseph Coloring Books series, it continues Catholic Book Publishing's long tradition of producing reliable, child-friendly resources that nurture early faith with gentleness and joy.
