Lent Coloring Book, written by Michael Goode and illustrated by Margaret A. Buono, is a fun and creative way for children to learn about preparing for the Resurrection of Jesus and the forty days leading up to Easter. Lent is a time in the liturgical calendar when Christians are called to detach from one thing in order to attach ourselves more firmly to Jesus. Through acts of service and yielding to our 'worldly' desires, Lent affords us the opportunity to examine and renew of relationship with Jesus and our commitment to live our Catholic faith in the providence of our daily lives.
