Born to immigrant coal miners, he understood life at an early age. By the time he’d reached five, loss and deprivation were no strangers to him. Jennifer R. Lyons lives in the beautiful northeast. Growing up in the West shaped her tenacity for life and honed her instincts for surviving in challenging environments. She is a military spouse and earned a Master’s in History while doing what she really loved: raising her four amazing children. On her time away from writing, she can be found reading, trying new wine, and chatting to friends and family.
