The Cinema of Forgotten SoulsA novel by Graham DavisAt the heart of a small Scottish town stands a once glorious art deco cinema, a place where laughter and tears have soaked into the walls, and where the past refuses to be forgotten. As Agnes begins to experience visions and unsettling encounters within the cinema's shadowy corridors, she uncovers a web of love, loss, and betrayal that stretches back generations. The fate of Mary and Alasdair Chapman, a devoted couple who vanished without a trace, is entwined with the building's darkest secrets. As the investigation unfolds, the boundaries between the living and the dead blur. The Cinema of Forgotten Souls
A novel by Graham Davis
At the heart of a small Scottish town stands a once glorious art deco cinema, a place where laughter and tears have soaked into the walls, and where the past refuses to be forgotten. When the final film flickers across the screen in 1976, the cinema's doors close on more than just memories; they seal away secrets, tragedies, and the restless spirits of those lost to time.
Agnes, a young cinema worker, and Sargeant Malcolm Ingels, a policeman haunted by the disappearance of his beloved Margaret decades earlier, are drawn together by a series of mysterious events.
Agnes must confront the ghosts of the past and the pain of her own grief, while Sargeant Ingels faces the truth about the woman he could never save. Together, they must bring the forgotten into the light before the cycle of tragedy claims another soul.
"At the centre of every haunting is a love that refuses to be forgotten, and a loss that echoes through time."
Rich with atmosphere and emotional depth, The Cinema of Forgotten Souls is a haunting tale of devotion, regret, and the enduring power of memory. For anyone who has ever loved, ever mourned, or ever hoped that love might be enough to bring the lost home.
