This book is intended for use not only as a general Service Book, but also as a companion book to the Cathedral Psalter. (the new edition of It contains all the music necessary for choral purposes, excepting the psalter, anthems, and hymns. A careful selection of single and double chants for the Canticles will be found, adapted to the pointing set forth by the General Convention. The editor Wishes to call special attention to Nos. 2 and 3, Of the Rules for Chanting, on page 29. These rules are taken from the Preface to the Cathedral Psalter, and if they are strictly Observed, the chanting will be smooth and ?owing, without the disjointed effect so often heard in choirs. Efectos del desistimiento

Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
