Children of the Batcave - Nick Razer
When the police smash through their front door before dawn, thirteen-year-old Ruby Carter loses everything she's spent years trying to hold together. Torn from their parents and thrown into a foster home ruled by religious cruelty, Ruby and her eight-year-old sister Lily quickly learn that survival has its own set of rules-and breaking them comes with a price.
But Ruby refuses to be broken.
When punishment turns to torment, she makes a desperate choice: escape or die trying. Fleeing into the night, the sisters are swallowed by London's underbelly-neon-lit alleys, night buses, Soho runaways, goth clubs, predators, and the fractured remnants of the underground scene once known as the Batcave.
Every street hides a threat.
Every stranger could be salvation-or something far worse.
And every step forward risks tearing the sisters apart.
Raw, relentless, and charged with the energy of punk and goth subculture, Children of the Batcave is a brutal, beautiful story of survival, sisterhood, and the fight to stay human in a world determined to crush you.
Perfect for readers who crave emotional grit, street-level realism, and the dark social edge of Richard Allen.

Acerca del autor
Nick Razer is a master chef turned storyteller, known as much for his razor-sharp wit as his obsession with the humble cucumber. From five-star kitchens to farmers' markets, he's spent years perfecting flavors, textures, and the art of turning ordinary ingredients into unforgettable experiences. When he isn't behind a stove, Nick channels his creativity into writing-blending food, humor, and a dash of chaos into every tale. Equal parts culinary craftsman and eccentric visionary, he continues to cook up stories that are as bold and unpredictable as his recipes.
