In the most lawless territory in America, one man made it his personal mission to hunt down every outlaw who thought they could hide.
Indian Territory was the end of the line for desperate men-75,000 square miles where killers, thieves, and fugitives thought they were beyond the reach of justice. They were wrong.
Bass Reeves didn't just chase outlaws; he hunted them with the patience of a predator and the determination of a man possessed. For over thirty years, he tracked criminals across impossible terrain, through five Native nations, and into the darkest corners of the American frontier. He could follow a week-old trail through a thunderstorm, speak the language of Cherokee chiefs and Creek warriors, and disappear into a crowd of wanted men without raising suspicion.
He arrested over 3,000 criminals-many of them the most dangerous fugitives in America. Train robbers, murderers, cattle rustlers, and gang leaders all learned the same hard lesson: in Indian Territory, there was nowhere to run and nowhere to hide from Bass Reeves.
This is the story of the greatest man-hunter in American history and how his relentless pursuit of justice transformed the wildest territory in the nation into a place where outlaws feared to tread.
The chase is on. And Bass Reeves never loses.
