Judith looks as fragile as a flower. But inside, she's made of pure tempered steel. Her passion is to learn, then transfer new skills to eye doctors in developing countries creating a 'ripple effect' in a global sense. It's one of the reasons why I love her.

- Philip J. Krueger B.S., M.S.

This is the awe-inspiring, true-story of one petite, blonde eye surgeon traveling into the interior of Africa, Communist China, India, Nepal, Tibet, South-East Asia, Central America and elsewhere. As the goal of 'Vision 20/20' to eliminate cataract / glaucoma blindness rarely includes operating on children, Judith finds ways to do that.

- Lieutenant George Casanova, SAFD, Sargent B Co. 2bn 7th Cavalry Division (Infantry)

The events unfold in such an easy-to-follow manner; I felt like I was watching it all occur. Also, the Lessons Learned from her hosts, add greatly to a vivid and informative narrative, especially for anyone interested in doing medical missions abroad.

- Ogugua Okonkwo (OG), M.D., FRCS, FWACS, FASRS, MSFT, Lagos, Nigeria

This book opens our eyes to a world most of us have never experienced. It gives us joy when we see the photos of blind and/or disfigured patients before surgery, and their thankful smiles after surgery. We owe a debt of gratitude to those doctors who are willing to sacrifice their time and personal resources to make a difference for humanity.

- Sheila S. Moore, B.A., M.A.
