A love letter to and descriptive tour of the famous Woolworth Building, also known as "The Cathedral of Commerce," in New York. The Woolworth Building was commissioned by American entrepreneur Frank W. Woolworth as a headquarters for his "five-and-ten-cent" store, the F. W. Woolworth Company. The building was designed by American architect Cass Gilbert in the Neo-Gothic style. Construction for the Woolworth Building began in 1910 and was completed in 1912. The Building officially opened to the public in 1913. It held the designation of being the tallest building in the world (at 792 feet) from 1913-1929.
