Elian Vost is a Senior Cartographer for the Hind Dominion, a man whose life is defined by the meticulous drawing of lies. While his superiors demand maps of pristine borders and unyielding bridges, Elian knows the truth: the world is a necrotic wasteland of iron-slag trees and boiling black mud. When a mysterious silver ship descends from the smog, Elian is thrust into the "Grey Zone"-a toxic no-man's-land where the soil is fed by the dead. Deep beneath the surface, an ancient factory is rebooting, churning out perfect weapons for a war that has become its own objective. As the line between man and machine dissolves, Elian discovers a terrifying secret: the stalemate isn't just a conflict; it's a harvest. To save the remnants of a dying civilization, Elian must navigate a landscape of "Singing Glass" and face the "Silencers" returning from the stars. The ink is three hundred years old, but the blood is fresh.
In the 700th year of the Eternal War, maps are the deadliest weapons of all.
When a mysterious silver ship descends from the smog, Elian is thrust into the "Grey Zone"—a toxic no-man's-land where the soil is fed by the dead.
In a world where every bullet is a heartbeat for a hungry planet, the truth is the only map worth drawing.

Acerca del autor
Frank De Witte is an author fascinated by the intersection of industrial decay and human resilience. Based in Denmark, Frank draws inspiration from the stark, atmospheric landscapes of the north and the complex histories of forgotten frontiers. The Cartographer of Forgotten Fronts is his debut novel and the first installment in the Eternal War Chronicles. When he isn't exploring the depths of the "Grey Zone," he can be found documenting the shifting geographies of our own world.
