Important large scale French chart of Australia and the Pacific from one the great French voyages of exploration and scientific discovery undertaken by the Restoration and the July Monarchy under the command of Dumont D'Urville in the Astrolabe. The chart shows the tracks of the Astrolable. After James Cook, Dumont DUrville made perhaps the greatest contribution to the mapping of Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
