Descripción del artículo del vendedor

Vintage Landmark Cloth Cover Hardback Book with Dust Jacket. Inside text is in Very Good Plus to Excellent condition with a tight binding and clean crisp pages. Inside text appears to be unread! The only "issue" with this book is that it was presented to a child from a Church in 1964 and on the first blank end page it has the child's name, the Church name, the date, and signatures from the Teacher, Superintendent, Curate, Rector, Assistant Rector and on the next page- Observer. So there are 6 Signatures, and the child's name. But the real news is that "Gary" NEVER read the book! Inside text is crisp and clean and UNREAD AND UNUSED! No other writing or markings in the book. Outside cloth covers are very nice! Dust Jacket is in Good Plus condition with some minor soiling primarily to the back cover and some edge chipping and small missing pieces primarily to the bottom of the outside spine and top edge of the front cover. There is a small strip of clear scotch tape at the top and bottom of the outside spine and on all four outside corners. Inside front flap is price clipped. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. This is a less common title in the wonderful Landmark series. Book has come from a private collection. Landmark Books and World Landmark Books are accurate, in-depth stories for young people in the 9-15 year old range. These living histories were written by award-winning authors or by men and women who experienced the events first hand. Written during the 1950's and 1960's and illustrated either with two-color drawings or clear photographs, the books are informative, enjoyable, and well worth reading and collecting.
