This collection of thought provoking short stories and prose, shared by the author, Jamie Gause, reveals her journey as she uncovers and comes to the realization that after multiple failed jobs, marriages, parenting mistakes, lost friendships, and a life full of trials, she was at capacity-emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Being honest with herself, instead of hiding behind her smile, she knew that she had been giving everything her full potential and energy-even things and people who did not deserve it-and she was no longer able to take on anymore.
Ms. Gause realizes that her proverbial elevator in this life has multiple floors and at each one, she was "At Capacity" and needed to determine her next steps. She shares her story in hopes that you will recognize when you are at capacity and that it inspires you to take the stairs when you need to. Setting boundaries for your life is necessary and only makes those angry who take advantage of you. Ms. Gause has learned that if she must make them angry to preserve her mental and physical health, so be it.

Acerca del autor
Ever since I can remember, I have been on the move. Born prematurely, on an army base in Petersburg, VA, I started my life journey. Along the way, my family was stationed in Italy for a couple of years until we moved to Detroit Michigan, the place that I will forever call home.
My family relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio where I have spent most of my life. Graduated from Winton Woods High School, Xavier University, and the University of Phoenix. A mother of three children, 26,20, and 17, I spent my late teenage years and early twenties and thirties raising children, tirelessly serving, loving, and supporting my community, church, family and friends.
I have been an educator and HR practitioner since 2005 in various roles; teacher, Regional VP of HR, etc, consistently devoted to professional and personal development. I received my master's degree, started a doctoral degree program, owned a barbershop, am a member of the greatest sorority on earth, Delta Sigma Theta, and can carry a remarkable tune.
I have always had a love for language, whether it was singing words with a mic in my hand or putting my pin to paper.
Every life I believe has a soundtrack, which tells a story of one's past and present. I wrote this book to tell my story and to encourage myself and others to live out loud, tell their story and sing their song because there is freedom is applauding yourself, being your own biggest fan, and taking center stage of your own life.

However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. Returns Policy
We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
Our team will provide full instructions on how to return your order and once received our returns department will process your refund.
Please note the cost to return any unwanted order to us is borne by the buyer.
Should your order arrive damaged, not as advertised or faulty, we must be advised of this within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us so we can find the best solution for you.

Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).
Para cumplir con el plazo de desistimiento, basta con que envíe su comunicación relativa al ejercicio del derecho de desistimiento antes de que venza el periodo de desistimiento.
Efectos del desistimiento

El plazo se cumple si devuelve la mercancía antes de que venza el periodo de 14 días. Tendrá que asumir los gastos directos de devolución de los bienes. Usted solo es responsable de la disminución del valor de los bienes como resultado de una manipulación distinta a la necesaria para establecer la naturaleza, las características y el funcionamiento de los bienes.
Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
El derecho de desistimiento no se aplica a lo siguiente:
