Cahira "Cat" O'Brien - Beautiful. Wealthy. Mysterious. Deadly.

A world of power, deception, and second chances.

The Calm in the Storm introduces Cahira "Cat" O'Brien: a deadly and enigmatic woman who's walked the razor's edge of elite military ops, corporate empires, and shadowy assassinations.

When Cat decides to reclaim her life and reconnect with her family, her path collides with Danny Darcy—her sometime lover and son of the head of the Dullahan, a powerful sector of the Irish mob, and her dangerous past—and Eddie Brennan, a contractor with no connections to the worlds Cat typically moves in and a man who could be her future. Torn between loyalty, love, and freedom, Cat must confront the storm she's spent years trying to outrun.

The Calm in the Storm is book 1 in the Celtic Sisters series and is 250 pages of action, romance, and spice.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Michael Geraghty relocated to the small town of Monroe, New York, in 1978 and has resided there ever since. He has been writing since childhood, earning a BA in English from SUNY New Paltz and an MA in English from Western Connecticut State University. He spent years working for the West Point Association of Graduates before some life-changing events occurred, changing his outlook on life forever.

Luckily, that included finding his way into the world of writing, first with Scarlet Lantern Publishing and then with his own publishing imprint, Hold Fast Publishing. He has since published twelve books, all of which are contemporary, small-town romances that reflect his strong views of family, friendship, humor, faith, and relationships.

Michael lives happily with his wife of over thirty years, Michelle, in Harriman, New York, and his beloved King Charles Cavalier, Chester, and has a son, Sean.
