- Turn a physical system — mechanical, electrical or electromechanical — into a differential equation, and that equation into a transfer function you can manipulate.
- Predict how a system responds in time, and state its overshoot, rise time and settling time before you build it.
- Decide whether a closed loop stays bounded, and find the exact range of gain over which it does.
- Calculate the steady-state error a loop will hold, and change the loop so the error disappears.
- Read a plant's behaviour from its frequency response and know how much margin you have before it goes unstable.
- Design a compensator that meets a written specification by either classical method, and know why the two agree.
- Tune a controller in the field, and understand what the tuning rule assumes about your process.
- Put the finished compensator on a processor without the discrete implementation quietly undoing your design.
The examination date does not move. The interview question gets asked. The loop that hunts at two in the morning keeps hunting until someone understands why. Every week you postpone the underlying mathematics, the distance widens between passing the course and being the engineer other people call when the loop misbehaves.

Returns Policy
We ask all customers to contact us for authorisation should they wish to return their order. Orders returned without authorisation may not be credited.
If you wish to return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to obtain authorisation.
Returns requested beyond this time will not be authorised.
Our team will provide full instructions on how to return your order and once received our returns department will process your refund.
Please note the cost to return any unwanted order to us is borne by the buyer.

Para ejercer el derecho de desistimiento, complete de forma electrónica y envíe una declaración clara en nuestro sitio web, desde "Mis compras" en "Mi cuenta". Le enviaremos sin demora un acuse de recibo de dicho desistimiento a través de un soporte duradero (por ejemplo, por correo electrónico).

Efectos del desistimiento

Excepciones al derecho de desistimiento
