NOTE THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGE SINCE THIS IS A SET OF 14 BOOKS (AND NOT 1 BOOK). COMPLETE SET OF ALL 14 IAN FLEMING (or IAN FLEMING RELATED) JAMES BOND BOOK CLUB HARDCOVERS PUBLISHED BY (SEVERAL) UK BOOK CLUB PUBLISHERS STARTING IN 1956 UNTIL 1968: LIVE AND LET DIE, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, DOCTOR NO, GOLDFINGER, FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, THUNDERBALL, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE, THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (the other 3 James Bond books - Casino Royale, Moonraker, and Octopussy were never published by a UK BC), plus CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG (not published in a dust jacket), COLONEL SUN (by Robert Markham - deluxe edition with leather boards), and THE LIFE OF IAN FLEMING (by John Pearson - deluxe edition with leather boards), published by The Reprint Society, Thriller Book Club, The Book Club, Book Club Associates, and The Companion Book Club - all in association with Jonathan Cape per DJ front flaps, white or brown or map illustrated endpapers, various colored boards with black or gold gilt lettering to spines. Books are generally in very nice condition - vast majority of the books appear unread without creased page corners, no missing pages or endpapers, no former ownership markings or used bookstore stamps inside, slight foxing/dust soiling/age darkening to outer page edges on a few books, no soiling or staining to boards (faint foxing to boards on LALD & to spine on DAF), sun darkening to spine on TSWLM & sun darkening to boards on Chitty, just a couple of books have a bumped board corner. Original Dust Jackets: small chip at top of spine on Diamonds & Dr. No, large area of loss to top portion of front flap on YOLT otherwise no significant chipping/tearing/creasing to dust jackets, a few of dust jackets have wear to spine tips and/or a bit of edge wear, no significant sun fading/darkening to DJ spines (LALD has slight spine sun darkening), scotch tape residue (tape long since fallen off) marks to spine on FRWL & to rear panel on FYEO otherwise no soiling or staining of note to DJs, tiny color lift spot to cover on LALD otherwise a few DJs have occasional tiny color rubbing spots or foxing to white rear panels. Overall a nice VG to N-FINE books in VG- to N-FINE dust jackets of a very difficult to find Ian Fleming James Bond complete 1950s and 1960s UK book club hardcovers. I have a number of other U.S. and U.K. Ian Fleming James Bond 1st printing hardcover appearances up for sale.…
